So, like, Hong Kong is totally gonna like help out Chinese companies deal with the US trade stuff, according to Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu. He was all like, “We’re gonna provide like supply chain services and help these companies get into new markets and stuff.” This went down on Friday at an investment forum in Ningbo, which is like this tech place in China.
Like, the US is all about these crazy high tariffs on Chinese goods, but Hong Kong is like, “Nah, we got you covered.” They signed some deal with Zhejiang province to collaborate on a bunch of things like trade, fintech, and aviation. Lee was all, “The US is being a real bully with these tariffs, causing problems for the global economy.” Now everyone’s gonna be looking at Hong Kong to get into the mainland market and avoid US drama. Sounds like things are really shaking up in the world of trade and stuff.
