Security Measures and Guidelines

When not occupied by special events, the arena will be open to the public, offering a range of recreational activities such as badminton, with the capacity to accommodate up to 40 courts simultaneously.

In a bid to engage the local community, a stress test involving 12,000 participants will take place on Sunday afternoon at the arena and the adjacent youth sports ground. Participants will include Kai Tak residents, youth uniformed group members, and civil servants, underscoring the park’s commitment to fostering community spirit and active participation. To facilitate transportation, officials will arrange for numerous buses and taxis to transport participants to a drop-off area at the Sung Wong Toi MTR Station. Additionally, a fire drill will be conducted at the youth sports ground to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals involved.
