Big-time Malaysian singers like Siti Nurhaliza and Jamal Abdillah sang at the Majlis Sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2025, with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim showing up too. Now, Siti Nurhaliza had to go on Instagram to explain that she sang for free, and Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad is saying he gets why people are mad and that the criticism is legit. He’s like, “Yeah, we hear you. We’ll try to fix things for our healthcare peeps.” Also, he didn’t name names, but one of the singers performed for free to honor the prime minister and the healthcare workers “from the headquarters”. These workers included folks from other places like agencies, ministries, universities, and private sectors who are part of Malaysia’s healthcare system.
